Formerly Thistle Bristol, The Grand Hotel dates from the Victorian age, when local hero IK Brunel reshaped Bristol - and the world - with engineering feats near the Hotel like the nearby Clifton Suspension Bridge and SS Great Britain. In a city that’s no stranger to major feats of construction we’ve been engaged in extensive refurbishment works of our own. We’ve completed a major room refurbishment in the hotel and have fully refurbished our meeting and event hire rooms like the spectacular Wessex Suite and Grand Ballroom beautifully blending modern technology with the building's original Victorian charm.
